The Statues of Peace and Friendship before unveiled.
Everybody attend observed the ceremony.
Many people attended the ceremony.
Everybody gathers beneath the Angels.
Beneath the Statues, everyone gathered.

Australian Guests sang Walting Matilda
All of the Australian guests sang "Waltzing Matilda," their second national anthem.
ExPOWs Stood up Shouting their Number in Japanese
In response to Mr. Mudie's speech, ex-POWs stood up,  shouting their POW numbers in Japanese.
Taking photos here and there in the party hall.
The Japanese and Australians got together for pictures everywhere in the banquet hall.



In the morning of 9 October, the Australian guests left Naoetsu.
