I made the layout of T-gauge.

T-gauge is minimum in the world as a self-propelled model train set.
I wanted this from time when Eishindo had announced T-gauge.
Because if it is this size, the train that runs in scenery can be expressed.
However, there was no thing put on the market at all after it had been announced from Eishindo.
At last, it was possible to obtain it in the exhibition hall in Tokyo in August this year.

As a result of the examination, I discovered it. Neither the start nor the stop of it are smooth.
Therefore, I decided it to the omission of the station from the layout that I produced. The thing that I expressed was narrowed to the train that ran in the interval between the station and the station.

When the class103 set of T-gauge was bought first, I had already thought how to remodel this small train.
The same body as class103.
Body of gable. Length is 20 meters. The glove type ventilator on the roof can be used and it is still good. Class73 that became prototype of class103. And same generation's DMU Kiha30, will be able to be made.

Technique similar to Japanese type passenger car of Z-gauge that I was produced last summer. The simple remodeling said that it will put the illustration of the printed vehicle on the T-gauge by the bond will pass in case of this size.

It is a photograph while remodeling it on. Because the resolution of the camera is low, it is not a good photograph.
I was doing only a minimum processing to the body of class103.
Only the air conditioner was removed, and the stand of the air conditioner was plane with the knife.
The picture of the body cut out was pasted by the bond for woodwork. My remodeling was the above.

Thus, I obtained JNR train and class73. I will have to make the stage where this train can run at the same time as the train's completing.
At first, I was imaging JNR Yokohama Line in the 1970's. Therefore, the layout that I produce will become scenery where the coppice and the rice field spread out. And, brand-new flats are constructed on the hill.
Figure above is flats drawn at that time.
The block of the tree sold with DIY is made a wick. It drew according to the size of the block.

Flat was completed. The train also completed.
Afterwards, I arranged it on the cutting mat of A3 to understand the image.

I thought that I was going to compose the layout of the size of A3 at first. However, it is not satisfactory somehow when trying to temporary arrangement.
Train that runs in scenery. I wanted to see it. It is because of the desire that the ideal cannot be reproduced by this size.
It is necessary to layout a big size because of the model train of a small scale. This is my insistence.
If I have the space of 4×8 from which the layout of the HO scale can be made if it goes so far as to say, Kanda of T-scale and Shinbashi's town will be completely expressible as it is.

And...where are such space?

I tacked reluctantly. What will it at least be expressible, and I challenge the size of A3 of as many as two panels.

Immediately, I went to DIY and the styrene board and the paper clay were bought.
Both are a necessary one for the geographical features creation.
The railway track of T-gauge was sold to a great thing in the model shop in the city. An oval transformation was united when an insufficient railway track was supplemented thus and the image was gripped.

The photograph above shows the state that the geographical features creation ends to some degree.
The styrene board of the thickness of 5mm is cut like the contour line and sticked together. Hill, road and bank. I solved these expressions with the paper clay.
And, painting it on brown with a water spray when the paper clay dries is my normal course.
It was scheduled for me to arrange some flats on the hill in this side, and to make it to the scenery of the city suburbs at this time.

It is not mysterious to transform the theme.
The hill where flats should built has changed into the tea field while making up scenery. It has become the image of Tokaido-honsen line overall.
However, I thought that it was an idea not bad. It is because the train of a long organization can run because of T-gauge in a relaxed manner.

Therefore, it made it in class73 that made it with great pains to the preparation for another layout. I will prepare the resident of a new layout here.
It is class80.

The side processed the image placed in my homepage. I used the same industrial method as class73 that printed out the picture, and put it on class103.
Peculiar front shape will not be able to be expressed to me with paper and the plastic sheet.
Then, I solved this difficult problem by making good use of the low technology.

It is paper clay.

Some colors were mixed to look like orange on the side, and it formed with the toothpick and the driver little by little. It took one hour per one front. The window pasted black paper. A green part was painted with the dry ink.

It is a material that I used to make this layout. I write it as follows.

○Trees:It used the branch of the HO scale tree of ready-made goods ahead. I think that "Fine-Leaf Foliage" serves many uses with the product of Woodland Scenics.

○Japanese houses:I used a Matsuyama castle plastic model of 1/450 scales. The castle tower was remodeled to the Buddhist temple.

○Factory:Warship plastic model product of 1/700 scales. It is a small tea factory of two stories in 1/450 worlds in 1/700 worlds though it is a huge arsenal.

○Rice field:The mat for N-gauge is used as it is. However, the color is too vivid when using it as it is. Therefore, I colored with the water paint a little.

○Tea field:The bond was thick painted directly on geographical features. The color powder was scattered while it did not dry, and the ridge was made deliberately while mixing it the toothpick ahead.

○Meadow:Similarly, a little large sponge grain is put on the place where the bond was painted directly. A detailed turf is scattered on that. An extra turf is blown off when drying.

○Surface of the water:The base board is painted in green and blue of the latex coating. The bond was painted and a transparent feeling of water was expressed repeatedly when drying.

○Paving/Unpaved road:The shape of the road is made with a thick cardboard, white paper clay is piled up, and it keeps smooth. The whole was colored with the thinned white latex coating. I painted it in the gray that thinned the rut while not drying afterwards. To put the nuance.
The unpaved road rubbed the powdered ceramic art material said Kibushi-nendo(clay) on brown painted on the base directly. This is clay with a very detailed particle, and it is the best for the expression of dust.

When this article was written in Japanese first, EF58 that had to become the costar of class80 had been completed.

Or the competing passenger car was going to make in EF58 by me and, at first, to make it to Ltd express "Tsubame" or the class20 sleeper train. However, a more usual train tried to want me.
The reason for time zone is that limit.
Then, I selected class43. The production article was written in detail to the another paragraph.

However, Eishindo did good work. I think that happily playing by using the product might be the best to repay the effort of Eishindo as a user.
