Hiroyuki Yasumruo

Guitarist, Composer, Arranger, and Guitar Method Writer





Hiroyuki graduated from jazz composition major of the Barklee College of Music in Boston United States in 1998.
And, he studied the guitar as a principall instruments at this college.
He was the composer of Phil Wilson and the Berklee Rainbow Band from 1998 to 1999.

He is widely acting the studio work and live supporting as a session guitarist. And, own group activity, too.

He is a versatile musician who can play the guitar of various genres such as the jazz, blues, soul, funk, latin, rock and etc,.

The hybrid funk unit 'Funk-A-Diddle' is formed in November, 2007, and it is acting enthusiastically with Masatoshi Mizuno, Bunmei Ogawa, Kojiro Araya and him.
The first album 'Funk-A-Diddle' was released from VEGA Music Entertainment in November,2010.

He leads soul jazz band ' Soul Flood', jazz funk band ' Hip Stomp Bumpin' 'and brass funk band ' Tower Of Powder ' and is acting on others.
He participates in ' Rika Shimizu ' group of the jazz saxophone player and it takes an active part as a jazz guitarist.
And, he is a member of composer Kohei Tanaka's band and playing his solo album,too.

He is writing as a guitar method writer in the music magazine for guitar. His own guitar method books are evaluated very much, and those are known by containing a lot of very wonderful technique in Japan.

Also, He is working as a music supervising instructor in major music school in japan. Additionally, it works hard at the spread of his own guitar style in the guitar school of him.
