Executive Summary of Real Option Markets

The fundamental ideas and concept of real options are taken from financial options. Judging from the history of the financial option markets, it is possible to set up the real option markets, but it takes a long time to realize it. The financial options were traded through the over-the-counter services of commodity houses, merchant ventures and securities firms in Europe and the United States until the Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE) was set up in 1973. To realize the real option markets, we should start trading the real options through the Website and/or over-the-counter of the writer companies, and scramble for support of real option trading from managers. Real options are useful tools for managers to succeed in their projects and get better financial results. Without a real option market, managers cannot make full use of real option strategies, because it is difficult to find participants in the real option transactions. The real option markets would make real option transactions fair and decrease the abuses, frauds and manipulations. I hope my researches and papers on real options will contribute to the promotion of real option transactions among managers and lead to realizing real option markets in the future.
