Heb1:3 Who, being the effulgence of His glory and the impress of His substance
and upholding and bearing all things by the word of His power, having made
purification of sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;
10:14 For by one offering He has perfected forever those who are being sanctified.

1.Purification of sins
About the purification of sins, let us see what br. Lee says in his Life
Study messages of Hebrews m3.
B. In Redemption
1. Having Purified Sins in the Past
In God’s redemption there are also three time periods. Firstly, the Lord
purified our sins in the past (1:3). He has not only atoned for our sins,
but also made purification of them. Atoning means covering, but purification
means that our sins have been washed away. In the type of the Old Testament,
the atonement was only able to cover sins (Psa. 32:1), but unable to take
them away. So the atoning priests stood daily, offering the same sacrifices,
and could never sit down (Heb. 10:11). But the Son has taken away sin (John
1:29) and has accomplished the purification of sins once for all. Therefore,
He sat down forever (Heb. 10:10, 12). In the eyes of God, sin is over.
In the eyes of God, throughout the whole universe, sin has been washed
away. Sin should not be in you, in the church, or in your home. Sin has
been washed away, and the purification of sin has been accomplished. The
Son completed this work in the past.
Here the words concerning the purification of sins is only John 1:29 "Behold,
the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!". This is a
prophecy not the reality. Here br. Lee says about both the taking away
of the sin and the purification of sins. this means a total dealing with
all the sin and the sins. Hallelujah! Yes, In the eyes of God, sin of the “objective we“ were taken away and the sins of the “objective
we“ were also purified. This event was invisible in our eyes. Well, then,
where is the reality of taking away of "our" sin and the purification
of "our" sins?
2.Perfection
Next we go to the perfection. Heb. LS m43 says as follows.
IX. BY ONE OFFERING
CHRIST HAVING PERFECTED FOREVER
US WHO ARE BEING SANCTIFIED
Verse 14 says that by “one offering He has perfected forever those who are sanctified.” Although the other sacrifices never perfected anyone, Christ’s unique sacrifice has perfected us forever. Through His offering, Christ has not only sanctified us once for all but also perfected us forever. Through that one sacrifice of Christ, we have not only been separated from sin and brought back to God but also have been perfected before God.
In his Conclusion of the New Testament we see the item for taking away of our sin and the purification of our sins(m71). But we can't find an item for our perfection. Here we can't either find the scriptures which show the reality of "our" perfection.
Now, there are some scriptures which prove the taking away of "our"
sin and the purification of "our" sins and of "our"
perfection. These are for instance Eph.2:5-6 and Rom.8:30. In these are
the events which show taking away of the sin and purification of the sins
of the “objective we“ and perfection of the “objective we“.
Eph.2:5 Even when we were dead in offenses, made us alive together with
Christ (by grace you have been saved)
6 And raised us up together with Him and seated us together with Him in the heavenlies in Christ Jesus,
Rom.8:30 And those whom He predestinated, these He also called; and those
whom He called, these He also justified; and those whom He justified, these
He also glorified.
In Eph.2:6 are our being raised up and seated together with Him in the
heavenlies. In Rom.8:30 is our glorification. Our resurrection, ascension
and glorification include the taking away of our sin and the purification
of our sins and our perfection. And the ones who were purified and glorified
are the “objective we“.
There are at least 2 scriptures which show taking away of ou sin and the
purification of sins and perfection. But br. Lee could not point out these
verses. For he did not have the concept of the “objective we“.
You should know that the redemptive works, beginning with His incarnation
to His ascension, were carried out on the "objective all things"
including “objective we“ in His body of flesh. And application of His
redemptive works have been carried out on the "subjective we"
through the Spirit that includes all the reality of His redemptive works
from His incarnation unto His ascension.
3.This perfection is the First Step Accomplishment of the New Jerusalem.
This perfection has many names the master piece(Eph.2:10), one new man(15), one Spirit(18), holy temple(21), and a dwelling place of God(22). And more Jerusalem above(Gal.4:26), true tabernacle(Heb.8:2) and ,the greater and more perfect tabernacle(9:11) and our having come forward to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God...(12:22-24). These verses show purification and perfection of us the “objective we“. These are non other than the union of Christ with all the fullnes including the “objective we“.
As Gal.4:26 is Jerusalem above, if we want to express what this being is
using "Jerusalem", we can say this is the first step accomplishment
of the New Jersalem. And in the Millenium the second acconplishment, and
in the New Heaven and New Earth, the third and the last accomplishment
of the New Jerusalem.(see Fig.1 below)
And this completed being is one Spirit which is the Spirit. So, the first
step accomplishment of the New Jerusalem is the Spirit. Therefore our transformation
is the New Jerusalem extending from within us.
The seed of a morning glory blossoms the morning glory.
The seed of the Nerw Jerusalem will blossom the New Jerusalem.
The seed of the triune God will not blossom the New Jerusalem.
Hallelujah!
