the Jerusalem above
(Gal4:26) |
261 The Jerusalem above eventually will be the New Jerusalem in the new heaven and new earth (Rev. 21:1-2), which is related to the covenant of promise. She is the mother of the New Testament believers, who are not slaves under law but sons under grace. We, the New Testament believers, are all born of her from above and will all be in the New Jerusalem in the new heaven and new earth. |
Coming to this foot note, one wants to know @What is this?AHow did it
come into existence? But no one may not be satified to this foot note261. For anyone can easily guess it will be unto the New Jerusalem.
This existence is the same being as the one new man in Eph2:15 the union
of Christ with all the fullness which includes “objective we“. This is
a minitype new Jerusalem or first step accomplishment of new Jerusalem. |
Master piece of God
(Eph.2:10)
|
101 The Greek word, poiema, means something that has been made, a handiwork, or something that has been written or composed as a poem. Not only a poetic writing may be considered a poem, but also any work of art that expresses the maker's wisdom and design. We, the church, the masterpiece of God's work, are a poem expressing God's infinite wisdom and divine design.
The heavens, the earth, and man, created by God, are not God's masterpiece; but the church, the Body of Christ, the fullness of the One who fills all in all (1:23), the corporate and universal new man (v. 15), is a masterpiece. We have been saved by grace to be God's masterpiece that we may walk in the good works prepared beforehand by God. |
Does anyone think the church that is of fallen, antipathy divisions in
actuallity is God's master piece? The masterpiece is not the church, but
a union of Christ with “objective we“ who were created through His crucifixion
and resurrection. This being is an accomplished being and same as the one
new man in Eph2:15 an incorporation. |
holy temple
(Eph.2:21) |
215Or, sanctuary; the inner part of the temple. |
Same being as above. The union of Christ with “objective we“the completed
being.
Temple is the place for the saints to serve Him. Col 1:22 is one scene
of the reconciled people serving Him. |
a dwelling place of God
(Eph.2:22) |
223 According to the context, in v. 21 the holy temple is universal; in this verse the dwelling place of God is local. |
The same being as above, and is a dwelling place of God which is a place
for God and His children to live in love and peace in eternity. |
Christ in you, the hope of glory
(Col.1:27) |
273Christ: Christ, who dwells in our spirit to be our life and person, is
our hope of glory. When He comes, we will be glorified in Him. This indicates
that the indwelling Christ will saturate our entire being that our physical
body may be transfigured and conformed to the body of His glory (Phil.
3:21).,
275glory: Christ is the mystery that is full of glory now. This glory will
be manifested to its fullest extent when Christ returns to glorify His
saints (Rom. 8:30). Hence, it is a hope, the hope of glory. Christ Himself
is also this hope of glory.
|
Glory is the new Jerusalem the ultimate consummation of God. Christ Himself
is a union with all the fullness which is a reconciliation of all things
through His blood into Himself(Col1:19-20). So, He Himself is now a miniature
new Jerusalem. And so He Himself is the hope of glory the new Jerusalem
itself. |
true tabernacle,
(Heb.8:2)
the greater and more perfect tabernacle
(Heb.9:11) |
ー |
no foot note
Tabernacle of Moses is a type of the new Jerusalem(Rev21:3).
Christ is now minitype or the first step accomplishment of the new Jerusalem
for in Him all the fullness are involved including us the “objective we“.
This first step accomplishment is this true tabernacle and the greater
and more perfect tabernacle.
Most perfect tabernacle may be the third accomplishment or the final accomplishment
of the new Jerusalem. One scene of the true tabernacle, that is more perfect
tabernacle can be seen in Col.1:22.
Br. Lee did not know this. |
