Romans 6:11 So also you, reckon yourselves to be dead to sin, but living
to God in Christ Jesus.

1. A gap between the Bible and our experiences
Today I write about "reckon yourselves" in Rome 6:11 in doctrinal
aspect and our experience.
Don't you have such an experience?
."According to Gal.2:20, I am crucified with Christ. And Rom 6:6 says
our old man has been crucified with Christ and 6:11 says to reckon yourselves
to be dead to sin.
And more to reckon to be living to God.
But look myself, what am I doing?
Only flesh and always losing my temper!
Complain to my wife, and the relationship in the company doesn't go well.
I'm not dead against sin, nore to live to God. Far from it.
Impossible to admit such a thing!"
And you got into your self-hating.
How about you?
As a result, you were disappointed at yourself, and became skeptic for
the Bible?
Is it true for you?
Ha,ha,ha, this was my experience.
Actually, it is the "Objective we" who died to sin and is living
to God in Christ Jesus.
We who are suffering in the gap between the Bible and experiences on the
earth are "Subjective we".
It is not "Subjective we" who were crucified with Christ and
died to sin and resurrected and living to God, but "Objective we".
In a word, it was an event caused on you the gObjective weg who have
existed in Christ's body 2,000 years ago. Do not misunderstand.
And so, the Bible says that you the "Subjective we" should admit
that the "Objective we" died to sin and are living in Christ
Jesus.
Therefore, you the one of "Subjective we" say, "I'm not
dead, nor living to God, impossible for me!"
It's very natural.
For, we are full of flesh now yet.
So, please know clearly.
The one who died through the cross, and now living to God is myself, but
this myself is not one of the "Subjective we" on the earth, but
one of the gObjective weg who had been involved in His fleshly body since
His incarnation.
If you had known it, you did not need to fall into the self-hating.
Nor to become skeptic for the Bible.
"Oh, is that true? Then I can say amen."
I admit it for 100 times.
That's OK.
2. Then, what shall I do?
"Then, what shall I do, that I may not lose my temper hereafter?"
Oh, yes.
Surely, you want to know it.
Not only you but also everyone wishes.
The name of this homepage is "Biblical Truth Notes 2".
Only the truth should be spoken in this site.
Experience is outside the category.
But now, I shall have to get out of the category,
Then, I tell you about experiencing.
By the way, what are the "Objective we" doing now?
They were crucified with Christ.
Then, they were given life together with Christ, resurrected with Him,
and both seated in the heavenlies.
This is clearly written in Eph. 2:5-6.
Eph.2:5-6
5 Even when we were dead in offenses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved)
6 And raised us up together with Him and seated us together with Him in
the heavenlies in Christ Jesus,
This is an event 2,000 years ago.
You may have a question.
Then, how about today?
What gObjective weg are doing today?
Yes, they are there now.
They have been sitting on the throne with Christ since 2,000 years ago.
Do you say why I can say so?
We can't find any word that they left the throne, can you?
Moreover, look Epistle to the Hebrews chapter 12:22 to 24.
[RCV] Hebrews
12:22 But you have come forward to Mount Zion and to the city of the living
God, the heavenly Jerusalem; and to myriads of angels, to the universal
gathering;
23 And to the church of the firstborn, who have been enrolled in the heavens; and to God, the Judge of all; and to the spirits of righteous men who have been made perfect;
24 And to Jesus, the Mediator of a new covenant; and to the blood of sprinkling, which speaks something better than that of Abel.
Verse 22 says "You have come forward to Mount Zion". This is not clear, whether you came to the Mount Zion or coming near. True
translation is as KJV says "You are come to Mount Zion".
Where did you arrive? You arrived "to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem; and to myriads of angels, to the universal gathering;.....".
This is the same place as the place of Eph.2:5-6.
There we "Objective we" arrived with the Christ and exist there,
until today.
Is it OK?
This is the present state of "Objective we".
It means that "Objective we" are in the state of consummation
and glory.
This is a state of most high.
More than this is impossible.
Because, they are on the throne.
Therefore, it is a glory.
The gObjective wegare now glorified and filled with God and one with
Him.
Of course not, they lose their temper any longer.
It was a history before the crucifixion long long ago.
It was awful before "Objective we" were crucified.
Please remember these.
Rom.5:6,8,10 say we were weak sinners and enemies of God.
Moreover, Col.1:21 says about gObjective weg, "And you, though once alienated and enemies in your mind because of your evil works,".
How awful were we!
This is quite the same as before we believed in Jesus.
The gObjective weg were such ones but after the crucifixion with Christ,
gObjective weg were given life and resurrected with Christ and were seated
in the heavenlies with Him.
What a change?!
The difference is just like day and night.
"Objective we" are now ultimately completed and glorified and sit in the heavenlies.
OK, my reader?
Therefore, Paul says in Rome 6:11
"You reckon yourselves you are dead to sin and living to God."
They are now in the glory, therefore certainly they are living to God.
3. As the Spirit, it comes to us "Subjective we" on the earth.
Is that all? No; I have more to say.
We the "Objective we" were already together with Christ since
His incarnation, and could never exist apart from Him.
Please remember that in His resurrection gObjective weg were strictly
united with Christ and have been with Him until now.
Some say "It's a blasphemy of God that believers(gObjective weg)
are included in the Holy Spirit.
I said before that this is an erroneous view of the Bible.
By the way, Christ became a life giving Spirit now (1Cor. 15:45).
In a word, He is the Spirit, Holy Spirit.
And, he is come to us on the earth "Subjective we".
So, the glorified "Objective we" are in the Holy Spirit, and
so, gObjective wegare now come to us the "Subjective we".
Hey look!, Now, glorified and completed being is in us.
Shall we "Subjective we" be the same being as what is in us,
don't we?
Yes, that's right, we'll be.
We are now becoming that little by little.
For, there is such a word.
[RCV]Eph.2:22
In whom you also are being built together into a dwelling place of God
in spirit.
"A dwelling place of God" is the glorified and completed being,
the union of Christ with "Objective we".
This being is now in our spirit and we the "Subjective we" will
be just the same being as what within our spirit the dwelling place of
God.
This being, I say again, the most high completed and glorified being.
The Bible says so.
The testimony of the Bible is true.
Our glorification is not a matter of our doing good.
Quite different.
But a matter of being infiltrated by this glorified existence.
It is just like a blotting paper being infiltrated with ink, the Spirit
infiltrates into our soul.
Our thought, will, and emotion are still corrupted, unstable and even dirty.
But, what will happen when the Spirit is dispensed and infiltrated into
such an unstable and dirty part?
Do our thought, will and emotion won't be as same as what infiltrated being?
Yes, they will be the same as what infiltrated being, just like a blotting
paper is infiltrated with ink.
Unstable part will be stable, dirty part will be clean.
By God's infiltration, glorification will go on little by little. This
is called sanctification
The thought will be purified and become quiet.
The weak will will be strengthened gradually and be steady.
The emotion having lost your temper will be generous.
Moreover, because of God's infiltration, you will be someone different
from the people, having heavenly atmosphere.
You will surely be such a person.
4. Things are to be seen in God's viewpoint.
I see your theory.
Then, what must I do?
Oh, sorry, for my long chattering.
What does the Bible say?
Rome 8:28 says,
And we know that all thingswork together for good to those who love God,
to those who are called according to His purpose.
1Thessalonians 5:18 says,
In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus
for you.
You losed your temper, for you don't like what other one does.
Or, things don't go well just as you expect.
In short, you don't like everything that happens arround you.
However, from the view point of God, things that happen arround you that you don't like are gain for you.
For, the Word says that "all things work together for good".
But you have refused these things saying no,no,no in your heart.
Is it true?
Thus, to say no,no to the things arround you is to say no,no to your God.
Because, you are against the word of God, arn't you?
God is looking at you sitting on His hands.
He can do nothing for you.
It means, holy ink cannot be infiltrated into your soul.
For you are refusing the Lord.
So, this time, switching gear, how about you to look the things from God's
view point?
1Thessalonians 5:18 says , "In everything give thanks;".
So, when you come across an unpleasant thing, won't you say just say thanks
to the Lord, OK?
You don't like your boss at your work.
So, you try to say to the Lord, "Lord, I thank for the boss"
only saying with your lip.
Don't make a mistake.
You don't say to the boss.
You say to the Lord Jesus.
At your home, marital relations may not go well.
You the husband say to the Lord, "Lord, I thank you for my wife Mary".
Or you the wife say to the Lord, "Lord, I thank you for my husband
John whom I hate very much" only saying with your lip.
Are you a student?
You have many to worry.
But you say to the Lord, "Lord, I thank you žžA››A¢¢".
Or, are you serious for your elder's nursing?
Then, you say to the Lord, "Lord, I thank you for the heavy nursing".
All right, my dear reader?
You say with your mouth, "I thank you, Lord".
That's OK.
At that time, you may not have any mind to express gratitude.
But, OK.
You have only to say "Lord, I thank you for EEE"
This is the point!
Even if your mind would not follow your mouth.
First of all, you say with your mouth and lip.
This is important.
While doing this for several times, it will be easy for you to express
gratitude little by little.
This means you who had disobeyed God, now began to accept Him little by
little.
Then, He pleases to do somthing for you.
Yes, the infiltration of the holy ink into your soul is possible.
As a result, something begins to move in you.
All right, dear my reader?
Your outside may not change.
But, there may be something moving within you.
The hateful chief will be not so.
Your wife won't be too bad to you.
Your hateful husband will be not so hateful.
For, you a university student, a weak subject will be not so weak but you'll
have some interest in it.
Hard nursing will be not so serious for you.
If you feel something changing within you, it means the holy ink infiltrating
into you.The holy ink is the glorified being the union of Christ with the
gObjective weg. The glory of God increased within you(2Co.3:18)
Hallelujah.
It is really an eternally worthful thing.
For, the holy ink, God Himself with "Objective we" increased within you.
It means that you practiced this word below.
Rom.8:13
....., but if by the Spirit you put to death the practices of the body,
you will live.
Thus, as "Objective we" in heaven are living to God, so "Subjective
we" on the earth will also live to God, Hallelujah!
