5. If indeed you continue in the faith

Col.1:23 If indeed you continue in the faith, grounded and steadfast and not being moved away from the hope of the gospel, which you heard, which was proclaimed in call creation under heaven, of which I Paul became a minister.

Well, here, what is the faith?

A matter of course, you may say.

Paul says the faith.

What did he say in the previous verse?

3. All things are reconciled with the Christ and .

Col.1:21 And you, though once alienated and enemies in your mind because of your evil works,
22 He now has reconciled in the body of His flesh through death, to present you holy and without blemish and without reproach before Him;

"You" who were a part of all things, also had a problem in God's presence just like other all things.
So, "you" were necessary to be reconciled.

Why? For, you were ... once alienated and enemies in your mind because of your evil works,

Then, Christ reconciled them in the body of His flesh through death.

Thereby now you are holy and without blemish and without reproach before Him and serving.

This is the present appearance of the "Objective we" in the heaven.

I showed this scene with the boards around the ark in the Holy of Hollies.

This is a view of our ultimate consummation the glory.
Some sober feeling cannot be wiped away comparing with the appearance of the throne in Eph.2:6.

Paul says that ultimately we will be like these serving the Lord around Him.

In this meaning, he is encouraging us to stay firmly in the faith.
